last summary.
So where do I start, I don't know that I was ever totally at ease with blogging. I don't post any personal stuff on my facebook and I didn't put too much stuff here either. Posting anything online makes it public and I wouldn't want things comming upwith clients or staff. So I feel that maybe if this had been more secure I would have shared more about my life and leisure. The people who know me know that this is the G rated version of me. Having said that, I did learn that leisure can be socially restricted and there are certain social norms, and taboos that are shed into peoples leisure choices or willingness to share these choices. Leisure isn't different for everyone, and I must say that blogging helped me understant the difference between activity and leisure. And still my best moments are when I am able to convey to people what our program is about, giving them new found respect and understanding for their own leisure. This is honestly the first class which has given me the knowledge to do so. Blogging helped with this process, because I learned to identify my leisural likes and dislikes. This is important for ones ability to teach leisure. I don't feel that I would be qualifyed or interested in running Oprahs book club ....ever! I can't teach something that I am not passionate about. Leisure to me, is whatever intrigues, challenges, excites and .....makes me feel good!

Reading....uhk!
I find that fall is really my most leisurely season, it's too cold and yet not cold enough. I tried to read a book for my leisure experience, since I've never read anything without being oblidge to. I have been somewhat injured, my knee on which I've already had three knee surgeries on is acting out, so I've been trying to not be active. Sooooo hard. Anyway it gave me the opportunity to read a book "She's come undone" by Wally Lamb, recomended by Oprah. I was somewhat interesting for about one chapter, but the truth is that reading and siting still is really not something I enjoy. At all! Plus it's about a girl who eats away her feelings and gets fat, which only made me want to go to the gym even more. Totally counter productive. I just figure I will leave reading to my retirement days, when I'm too old and crippled to do anything else.

Photokina reviews out!!

I have spent most of my time checking this camera's reviews. It's the newest from the Nikon line of D cameras. The first SLR to have video mode, which is in HD. Wow. I love it, and I'm checking prices in NY they have amazing camera stores.
I have been reading reviews from this site which is the all to know;rates and reviews
for cameras and anything that has to do with photography products.
I love it. Good stuff. I really enjoy this process of shopping, the searching and researching.
Hurray for internet!

Injuries
Today we had our presentation which went really well. Ava who is in my group, broke her nose while playing soccer. I had a soccer game tonight where I just about dislocated my shoulder. It seems that lately any wrong move and I feel injured. My knee has been hurting and both my shoulders. Just to fill you in as to why this might be of concern to me. I have a very rare and untreatable skin disorder. I have to take a medication which is cousine of Accutane, just to be able to function normally. However this medication has a books worth of side effects. I've already experince a stunt in growth, where my femmur had to be shortened by 4cm to match the other one. And now I'm concerned that with the joint pains I might have Arthritis, which is another side effect. It's scary because with my condition, my liver could go into failure from the meds, aswell. Yet I feel more afraid of side effects that can remove my passions in leisure which are sports. I feel somewhat discouraged today, because I know something is not quite right and it might change my life.

ooops
I just totally forgot about the Blog. I think I've had on too many concussions. So as usual not much has been going on. I've had way more homework with the educational program. We've actually met like three times to put this thing together, on days where I didn't have to be at school. So the extra drive from the westisland in traffic was rather time consuming. I know I talk a lot about hockey, but it's really something I love to do and I look forward to Wednesday and Sunday. I love the girls I play with; we get together at parties, restos and clubs. I truly consider them as close friends. This Sunday I was asked to spare on the A team which was so much fun and more challenging. I did score and get and assist, which added to my pleasure. Not to mention they said they will call on me often to play, which means I'll play two games on Sundays. Yey!

Review 2
I wasn't sure how I wanted to do my second review. I was at my new job yesterday and we were discussing my possible full time position. Then we got onto the topic of what I study and of course I had to say leisure studies, to which I got the usual response of "do we just play activities and party". And after having established a definition through class discussions and readings, even through my own leisure values; I was able to explain to them the importance of leisure in our lives. Leisure plays a key role on our physical and mental health, not to mention on socialization. I was also able to explain the differences between free time, sports and activities, which may not necessarly be considered as leisure. They also understood that often people need help feeling fullfilled during their leisure time. This might be due to lack of skill, knowlegde, opportunity or even disability, which all impact our freedom to acheive complete leisure experiences/moments.

I missed last week, so I'm not sure what to expect tomorow. Like I've mentioned, my life has taken a major u turn this past month. I have a very specific patern for my weekly schedule. My work is the biggest priority for my now and that means acquiring as much experience as I can get in the field. Last week I took on the challenge of working for a caterer which delivers to private jets. It's just easier to find more work which is actually beneficial for me right now, because I need the distraction. There are times were I just don't have the energy to leisure. One, because I really don't feel like being alone and two, because I don't feel like doing anything which might remind me of what has changed in my life. Work is my replacement leisure for now, untill I can fix myself and be well enough alone.
